Nigel Victoire
Originally from the UK, I work in a manner which is non-judgemental, welcoming, and seeks understanding. Drawing from experience in the substance misuse field, criminal justice, child protection and working alongside young people and adolescents, I can help you form a plan of action to make positive and meaningful changes for you and those around you.
I have a personal interest in helping people navigate difficult times be it forming a clear identity, setting and maintaining boundaries with those around you, or gaining the confidence to make difficult choices.
Approach
My practice encourages self-efficacy and aims to develop meaning and purpose. I aim to support clients gain greater self-awareness, establish healthy relationships, and become more empowered in their everyday lives. I have an extensive work history in child protection, mental health and criminal justice. I enjoy working with both adults and children.

I participate in ongoing professional training in the areas of trauma, child & family work, and attachment psychology and I am a member of the Psychotherapy and Counselling Federation of Australia (PACFA).

I combine elements of talk therapies with creative modalities providing an integrative approach to therapy that encourages self-efficacy and self-actualisation.
I am happy to have an obligation-free chat to see if I can meet your needs before you book a session.
